Sue Shinomiya (formerly Kallenbach), is a consultant, corporate trainer,
coach, author, webinar leader and entrepreneur specializing in global
business effectiveness for corporations and individuals. Her 20 plus years
in the intercultural field have included 9 years working and living in
Japan, and nearly 6 years on-site at Intel Japan. She speaks Japanese and
has studied Mandarin Chinese. Among her other clients are HP, Nike,
Microsoft, The Gap, Proctor and Gamble, NEC, Hitachi, Anritsu, Dade Behring,
Starbucks, Toyota and FedEx. She is currently a Board Member of SIETAR USA
and is a certified Global Diversity Workforce practitioner. She is the
co-author of "Business Passport to Japan: Revised and Updated," an essential
guide for anyone doing business in Japan.

Eileen is the co-founder and Vice President of Pacific Dreams,

relations between the US and Japan. Eileen has over 10 years of
consulting and work experience with Japanese companies. She developed

and seminars well as to academic groups, industry associations,

Ken Sakai is the co-founder and President of Pacific Dreams, Inc.
Ken came to Oregon in 1987 with Mitsubishi Silicon. In addition
to cross-cultural business training, Ken also provides American
HR practices training for Japanese companies both in the US and
Japan. With his extensive business experience on both sides of the
Pacific, Ken provides insightful perspectives to both Japanese and
non-Japanese clients alike. His areas of expertise also include
strategic planning and partnership development. |

Shintaro Tominaga
|
|
Shintaro Tominaga specializes in intercultural business consulting
and communication training/coaching for businesspeople working for
Japanese and non-Japanese firms which operate business globally
centering around Japan. He has traveled and worked in more than
20 countries throughout his career.
Born and raised in Sasebo Nagasaki-ken, Japan, Mr.
Tominaga had the opportunity to work at the U.S. Navy base located
there, where he honed his English skills and was exposed to US culture.
He majored in international economics at Nagasaki Prefectural University
from which he graduated in 1974. In 1986 he passed the English Proficiency
Test conducted by the United Nations Association of Japan with Special
A. In 1990 he received five months of distributor management training
from a Fortune 500 listed company in Boston, Massachusetts in the
US. Through this training, he learned theories, methodologies and
practical know-how of American style of sales management and presentation
skills.

Managing Principal of Japan Intercultural
Consulting in Chicago, IL, B.A. summa cum laude in History from Yale University,
MBA with honors from University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Ms. Kopp is a noted speaker and author of the intricacies of Japanese
business and society. She speaks, reads, and writes Japanese fluently, and has experience working in Japan. Her specialty is in helping Americans understand how to be optimally effective when working with Japanese. She consults with prominent Japanese companies
