Here's what seminar attendees have to say about our seminars:

The Secrets of the Invisible Group Dynamics in Japanese Companies

We thought the seminar was great. Mr. Tominaga is unique in our experience; someone who knows both Japanese and American culture thoroughly and compares them in clear, understandable terms with excellent examples. The seminar is everything you advertised.

The Secrets of the Invisible Group Dynamics in Japanese Companies

Mr. Tominaga is an excellent teacher. This was illustrated during the case studies. The class heard, understood and applied the class material.

Building Bridges

I took a class through Pacific Dreams' Building Bridges Seminar about "working with the Japanese" and found it very instructional. It helped me to understand where they are coming from and especially how to deal effectively with emails labeled "urgent urgent urgent" and other such details. Sometimes with these types of seminars you have to work hard to come up with takeaways and look deep to find how it applies to your daily work, but this course in particular was right on target.

Communication and Negotiation with Japanese Business People

I have worked for quite some time in the international arena and was the president of the Japanese subsidiary based in Tokyo from 1994-1999 and most recently I am working in the US subsidiary of a Japanese company so I approached this seminar with a critical eye and with a certain amount of skepticism. I was attending for my own interest and also to evaluate this program for possible implementation within the management team of our US subsidiary. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised to find this a very well done and informative seminar.

The discussion on the concept of “kuuki” was excellent. Even though I have attended numerous sessions on doing business in Japan and cultural differences between the west and Japan I had never heard this term before. The idea has been discussed abstractly, but the way it was presented in this seminar was excellent. I really did learn something new.

I would like to emphasize that I enjoyed the program and did take away new understanding on certain points and it has further stimulated my thinking. Shintaro did an excellent job as a seminar facilitator and I would not hesitate to recommend this program.
